Paul. Romans 1:14, 15. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 24 of 30 Days of Growing. Jesus is our legacy. Paul was a man in great debt. A debt that should fundamentally alter the way each of us live. Scripture talks big about not being in debt, except for two kinds: one is owing kindness to others and the other is owing them the knowledge of Jesus that you have. This second kind of debt is the one Paul woke up to every single day: he held a treasure-trove of life, he knew Jesus, and the story of Jesus. How could he deposit that treasure most effectively into the lives of his fellow humans? That quest drove the entire trajectory of his life. It was a debt he never paid back, but one he paid toward, every single day.
