God. Josh 1:9. Hi, it’s Nathan and this is day 19 of 30 days of promise. Yet another promise pressing back against our nagging fears. The ancient Israelite leader, Joshua, was facing the challenge of his life: taking over the leadership of Israel in the wake of Moses’ death. Fear would have been a very normal response—so God confronted it immediately, assuring Joshua of his faithful presence. You might be taking up a challenge like Joshua, pressing forward toward the wholeness God offers—go with courage. It isn’t necessarily going to be an easy journey, but it will be a journey in which you’re personally accompanied by the One who loves you most, the One who’s invited you into this journey. They One who walked with Joshua. God.
