And under His wings you shall take refuge
David. Psalm 91:4. Hi, it’s Nathan and this is day 21 of 30 days of promise. Refuge. Reminds of a story I’ve been told about a mother hen. One tragic day, the farmers chicken coop caught on fire. It was a total loss. As the farmer filtered through the smoldering remains, he kicked a lump of charred feathers. It was one of his prize hens. Then, to his great surprise, out from under that charred little body, scurried a handful of tiny chicks—saved by their mother’s faithfulness and protective wings. For whatever challenge today brings—you can find refuge under God’s gentle, protective wings. In their shadow, you can survive anything.
