But he who hates correction is stupid.
Solomon. Proverbs 12:1. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 11 of 30 Days of Wisdom. Don’t be stupid. Yeah, I’ve been there—the stupid one. I don’t like getting corrected—especially when it’s really embarrassing—but Solomon reminds me that wise instruction is treasure, a rich resource. Next time you’re corrected, put your game face on, receive this treasure and get over yourself. It’s worth it. Really. Hey, sometimes the correction isn’t even the point, it’s about the attitude of humility. That’s the real winner here. The attitude toward correction. Be a humble learner. Be a winner.
