After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.
John the Beloved. Revelation 18:1. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 25 of 30 Days Reflecting on the Kingdom. Over and over we’re reminded by the New Testament writers that the message of the kingdom is to be proclaimed everywhere. Revelation 18 calls our attention to a final, grand proclamation—depicted by a heavenly messenger who’s illuminating message brighten’s every corner of earth. Yes, everybody needs to know the good news of this kingdom now—and the one coming. Everyone must hear that God is love—and that he’s written a new story for them—and invited them to experience it’s full, glorious reality. Everyone must know that there’s a better way to do life—a relationally sustainable way. There’s an alternative to earth’s failed attempts and living well together. There’s a way that’s full of life and hope. That message MUST—WILL—circle our aching world.
