3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
Writer to the Hebrews. Hebrews 12:3. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 29 of 30 Days of Growing. We only succeed to the extent that our attention is riveted on Jesus, our grand Champion. Cherishing thoughts of him, keeps us going, hanging on for one aching mile, after aching mile, pressing toward a successful finish. When the adrenaline fades, his beautiful smile is an energy shot, flushing our muscles with renewed energy to push through one more day—month. Moment. In the face of driving rain or blinding grief. Throbbing feet or breaking heart. Blazing heat or raging addiction. A vision of Jesus keeps us going. Listen, anybody can put a foot in the race—but only those with hearts riveted on Jesus—entranced by his love—will put a foot across the finish line.
