REFLECTION: God. Isaiah 55:7 Hi, I’m Nathan and this is day 7 of 30 days of promise. Forgiveness. Abundant forgiveness is in the heart of God toward every single one of us. He holds no grudges, has no hidden bitterness or resentment. Whatever sin that ways you down right now—embrace his forgiving heart toward you. Receive his abundant pardon. God has already pardoned you, you aren’t really experiencing the full force of your destructive actions now—but what makes God’s pardon abundant, is that when you embrace his pardon for you, you don’t merely experience release—you experience restoration, renewal. What God offers is way more than just an “I forgive you”—it’s full-on rebirth from the ashes. The bank might say, yes, we forgive your debt—but that still leaves you broke. What God says: I’m way past that kind of forgiveness—I’ve always related to you that way—what I really want to do is make you rich in love. I want your life to overflow with the wonder of my presence and all that it brings into your life.
