The New King James Version. (:

REFLECTION: Paul. Phip. 4:6-7. Hi, it’s Nathan and this is day 14 of 30 days of promise! We could all use an armed guard at the door of our hearts—bravely warding off all that threatens our peace. This is just what God has promised to those who turn their cares over to the great, tender heart of God. Resting in him is how we post a guard at the door of our heart. Anxiety need not haunt us. Distress need not dominate our minds. Stress need not dissect our hearts. His peace is promised to hold secure the domain of every heart that gratefully turns its needs over to him. If you haven’t done so lately. Turn the radio off, and do it now. If you can, simply take out a piece of paper and on it write down all that troubles—then write a prayer at the bottom that simply says, God, I don’t know how to handle all this stuff, but you do, so I’ve decided to let you look after these things. Thanks for taking such good care of me. Amen.
