Hi, I’m Pastor Nathan Stearman and this is 30 Days of Psalms. The Psalms have proved a rich source of strength and inspiration to millions over the centuries. In the coming reflections, I’ll highlight little bits from the first 19 chapters. May your soul be blessed by these words of hope. Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
The Psalmist. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is 30 Days of Psalms. Blessed. Happy. Joy-filled. That’s what happens when we delight in God and his way. The more deeply we drink in of God’s wisdom, the more his beauty unfolds to us. The beauty of his character as illuminated by his law of love is, to those who take time to reflect on it, a window of wonder into the wideness of his kind heart. It lifts us up. Restores his picture in our hearts.
