Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Jesus. Matthew 7:9–11. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 28 of 30 Days on the Mount of Blessing, PT 2.
God longs to lavish you with more good things than you can ever count. He can—and will—do more than you can imagine in your wildest dreams. He is working tirelessly for your redemption—and up-lifting. Working to make you into the person he’s always dreamed you’d be. The person you’re made to be. The full, real you. To this end he will lavish you with blessing—and in doing so, will bless the world you touch in more ways than you could ever know. He will never betray, ignore or belittle the cry of your heart. Never double-cross you. You can ask without fear and in full-hearted faith. He loves you more than you will ever know. Loves to do you good more deeply than you can understand. Really.
