Jesus. Luke 5:13. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 16 of 30 Days on the Mount of Blessing, pt 3–and other sayings of Jesus.
What is it that weighs on your heart right now? What causes you grief? What pain are you running away from as fast as you can? Jesus is willing to heal you. It may not be the way you want to be healed—or in the timeframe you want to be healed, but turn your hurts, whatever they may be, over to his gentle, kind heart and ask him to heal them. Then trust him as you take each next step. It may be getting up and running because you’re perfectly well. It may mean learning to be at peace sitting in a wheel chair. It may mean saying good-bye. It may mean seeing your grandest dreams become reality. Whatever it means, one thing is absolutely certain, his presence will be with you every step of the way, and your life will tell the incredible story of his goodness—whether because you’ve become whole, or because you have grace to walk at peace in brokenness.
