Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Jesus. Matthew 6:9–10. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 27 of 30 Days Reflecting on the Kingdom. Not only do we proclaim God’s kingdom NOW—and coming—but we pray for its hasty arrival. We interceded with God to establish his kingdom here—in hearts now and fully, in earth future. We can pray for this kingdom’s advance by asking God to change our own hearts. Asking him to be present in the halls of government; to be at work in our local communities; to make us people of peace; to still the raging storms of human outrage. We can pray for the kingdom message to be given wings of influence around the globe. We can pray for causes of right to prevail. We can pray systems of injustice to be brought down. We can pray to be agents of grace in a world of un-grace.
