Jesus is the secret to a marriage filled with love. I said it once. I’m going to say again: the heart who’s thirst is deeply satisfied with the personal presence of Jesus—resting pleasantly in his great heart of live—will be a fresh fountain of self-giving love. Your soul must be bathed, watered, satisfied constantly with the love of Jesus—or you’ll quickly run dry, and giving will begin to hurt. Here’s the deal: in science class we learned about diffusion—that powerful molecular movement from a higher-concentration of a substance toward an area of lower concentration. It’s kinda the same with love: if Jesus’ love is highly concentrated in your life, it will naturally diffuse into your marriage, bringing its sweet aroma into every part.
