Hey, I’m Nathan, and this is Day 28 of 30 Days Watching Jesus. Remarkable,

counter-cultural, Jesus. While the religious folks were busy making money off of religion—Jesus stepped in—declaring his house a welcome place for all people. A teaching later reflected in the words of Paul in his letter to the Galatians: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Yes, Jesus welcomed all to come to him—rather than pushing away and reinforcing the bigotry of the surrounding culture, specifically pushing back against the contemporary CHURCH culture.
