Hey, I’m Nathan, and this is Day 29 of 30 Days Watching Jesus. With Jesus, it was always about the heart. Two near-useless copper coins outweighed the piles of money tossed in the collection box by the wealthy. They had suffered nothing to dump a load of change in the temple collection. Yet, one woman, who had but two small coins, had giving all. How different Jesus sized up people. He saw the size of their hearts—instead of the size of their wealth. He was not mislead by drama or pretense. So, do we see people like he did? Recognizing the size of the heart—or can we not see past the logo on the car, the spiffy sunglasses or the spacious digs?
