He will be great and will be called the Son of the highest.
And the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever and of his kingdom there will be no end. Gabriel Luke 1:32-33
Hi, its Nathan and this is day five of 30 days in the Gospels.
The incarnation of Jesus was expensive costing more for him and the God family, Father son spirit than we can ever wrap our minds around. Jesus took all of his divine advantage, walked away from the immediate presence of the God family and into the teeth of our tragedy.
He embraced our cause at whatever cost to himself, embraced our human family with all of its risk. Connecting earth with heaven. He came to restore our kingdom, a kingdom we'd miserably failed at handling.
He did this by becoming one of us, earning the right to lead and ultimately assuring the establishment of a kingdom that would never end.
