10 I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Solomon. Ecclesiastes 3:10-11. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 27 of 30 Days of Growing. Live now. With God. Your heart contains a vision that is bigger than the world, longer than your life-span. God has put it there. You were literally made for more—so don’t settle for less. Slow down, sit with God, soak in his word. Discover how to more fully live in your place in time. You will not reverse all the problems of yesterday nor set a course to finally solve them all in the next generation—but you have a life-giving purpose for right now. A God-given mission. Try to discover and live into that one day at a time. You, with all that you have and are, are needed RIGHT now. Do not pout and sit in the bleachers because you are not them get up and stand in your place because THEY are not you!
