But the Lord shall endure forever;
He has prepared His throne for judgment.
8 He shall judge the world in righteousness,
And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.
The Psalmist. Psalm 9:7, 8. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 16 of 30 Days of Psalms. The righteous judge. That’s God. Acting always out of his good character. I witness regularly the distortion or total disregard of justice in this crooked place of ours. Thankfully, I witness too, its triumph. Here’s the news to hang on to, though: God endures forever. We may suffer—will suffer—injustice. Our good cause will not always prove victor in the end. For now, in the long game, however, the Lord, who endures forever, will establish righteousness and uprightness universally. One day our misfortune will be reversed and right fully restored.
